Homeschoolers Room Design Challenge at IKEA

Put your creativity, planning, and design skills to the test! In this hands-on challenge, students will become the designer of a bedroom! They will receive a room-design checklist with required items and a specific budget to work with. Then, it’s time to hit the store and start designing!
Choose your design adventure:
Paper & Pencil: Sketch your room and create your design the classic way.
Digital Design: Bring a laptop or tablet and create your room using an online design tool.
Students will explore the store to find their favorite furniture, décor, and accessories, compare prices, make design decisions, and keep track of their spending. At the end, they’ll have a completed bedroom design that reflects their personal style all while staying within budget!
