Homeschool Days at Meacham Urban Farm

This supplemental education program is designed to inspire and educate homeschoolers about growing food and the world of farming. Each session includes a short lesson, a guided walk around the farm to explore what’s in season, and a hands-on project. Participants will get their hands dirty while learning about gardening and food production in an interactive, engaging way. Please dress appropriately for outdoor activities and bring a water bottle.
Homeschool Days will be led by former Meacham Farm Hand, Julia Parrino. With a full season of farming and a lifetime of creative art experience, Julia is excited to welcome and inspire students with fun, engaging farm activities.
