Homeschool Health Class
This year in our Homeschool Health class, students will build a strong foundation in understanding how to care for their growing bodies. Through interactive lessons and hands-on activities, we’ll cover the essentials of health, fitness, nutrition, and anatomy in a way that’s both fun and practical.
What We’ll Learn:
Nutrition & Healthy Eating
Students will discover the basics of good nutrition—exploring food groups, healthy meal choices, hydration, and the role of vitamins and minerals in helping their bodies grow and stay strong.
Physical Fitness
We’ll talk about why exercise matters and practice different types of movement that can be done at home or with friends. Students will learn how to build healthy routines that keep their bodies active and energized.
Basic Anatomy
Students will be introduced to the major body systems that support movement, including bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. They’ll learn where these parts are, what they do, and how to take care of them.
Our Goal:
By the end of the semester, students will have a practical understanding of how their bodies work and how to care for them—setting the stage for lifelong health and wellness.
