National Family Literacy Day Book Bash at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park

Celebrate the magic of stories with a family-friendly book bash! We’re bringing the joy of reading to life with a book swap, guided crafts, giveaways, and more.
Bring a gently loved children’s or young adult book and trade it for a new adventure—perfect for readers of all ages. Whether you're a tiny bookworm or a teen page-turner, there's something for everyone!

This event will take place at Shelter #6 (near the playground) at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park. Participants may drop-in any time between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

All participants must register. Any participant under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Parent/guardian must remain with their child for the entirety of the program.
Program subject to cancellation, an email notice will be sent out in the event of cancellation.
No pets, please.
