A Walk for Education March 2025 hosted by USF National Society of Black Engineers The purpose of this event is to increase the awareness of opportunities and to shatter myths about African Americans in math, science, engineering, and other technologies. This event was created to display opportunities at the University of South Florida and how people from different backgrounds should have equal opportunities.
At this event, students silently marched while holding signs that advocated free education. Our National Society of Black Engineers USF Chapter is raising money to provide Tampa Bay high school students with SAT and ACT books, and supplies to prep for college. The materials will be passed out to the local high school students during the event.
