Calling all bird-loving people to join in our celebration of African Penguin Awareness Day. The penguin population is disappearing, and we need everyone’s help to ensure their survival.

The Florida Aquarium’s Penguin Waddle is 0.2 mile walk along Channelside Drive that starts at the iconic Tampa sign at Sparkman Wharf and culminates at The Florida Aquarium.
Wave of Waddler’s #1: Meet at 4:30pm for a 5:15pm start
Wave of Waddler’s #2: Meet at 5:30 for 6:15pm start
Registered guests will gather at the iconic Tampa sign at Sparkman Wharf at their designated time and waddle the 0.2 mile along Channelside Drive to the finish line at The Florida Aquarium.
Both waves will converge outside the main entrance of the Aquarium for a block party in honor of our black-footed, feathered friends.
Our family-friendly, black and white block party runs until 7:30pm and with entertainment and refreshments, costume contests and Penguin ambassador meet and greets.
