Set course for the greatest pirate invasion in Tampa. For landlubbers of all ages, the Gasparilla Invasion Brunch Cruise includes close-up views of the Invasion with pleasures and treasures along the way. On the largest vessel in Yacht StarShip’s fleet guests can celebrate alongside Pirate Ship Jose Gaspar and the Pirate Invasion Flotilla as it makes its way through the downtown channel from Ballast Point. Roll with the tides for this can’t miss pirate victory with your favorite hearties!
Depart Channelside at 10:30 a.m. to meet the Pirate Ship Jose Gaspar and the Pirate Invasion Flotilla as it departs Ballast Point in Hillsborough Bay. We will have close-up views as we cruise alongside the flotilla as it crosses the Bay. Yacht StarShip is the largest vessel in the flotilla and guests will experience a once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the Invasion. Before the flotilla turns into the downtown channel, Yacht StarShip will exit the flotilla and proceed ahead, providing a great view as the hundreds of boats condense into a small channel. Subject to Coast Guard approval, the cruise may return to the Convention Center dock at 12:30 p.m. and remain dockside until 3 PM where passengers can stay aboard to witness the flotilla as the pirate ship arrives at 1 p.m. There will be Pirate Water Taxis to shuttle guests back to the Channelside dock if desired after invasion until 2 p.m. or it’s an 8-minute walk back to the Yacht StarShip Channelside dock on the Riverwalk.
