9/11 Memorial Mile

9/11 Memorial Mile (A Live and Virtual 1 Mile & 5K Run/Walk) presented by the Rotary Club of Wesley Chapel located at the Tampa Premium Outlets on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The Memorial 5k will start promptly at 7:00 am and the 1 Mile Memorial Walk @ 8:00 am.
This is a Live and Virtual Run/Walk to Remember the events of September 11, 2001.
Please note that there will be no day of event registration. Participants can pick up their goody bag, including shirt and bib, at the Tampa Premium Outlets in the Food Court. Shirts and sizes will be guaranteed if pre-registered before August 15. After this date, shirts will be available while supplies last.
Friday, 9/6 (Tampa Premium Outlets in the Food Court)
3:00-7:00 pm - Packet Pickup
Saturday, 9/7 (Tampa Premium Outlets in the Food Court)
5:45-7:45 am - Packet Pickup (5k packet pick will end at 6:45 so the 5k race can start on time at 7)
7:00 am - 9/11 Memorial 5k begins
8:00 am - 9/11 Memorial Mile begins
8:40 am - 9/11 Ceremony, time of remembrance and a tour of the 9/11 Memorial Wall
Virtual runners will be able to walk their 9/11 Memorial Mile when even and where ever they are to remember the events of September 11, 2001. (You can pick up your event packets at any of the times listed above.)
