Next Generation Ballroom, Broadway, and Ballet at Straz Center

Next Generation Ballet’s Spring production is a showcase for the diversity of dance. The performance will feature the first ballet created specifically for an NGB spring show. Created by flamenco great Irene Rodriguez, the piece will explore a variety of regional Spanish dance forms and will feature performances by Rodriguez with close to 175 student dancers. The delightful Circus Polka, choreographed by Jerome Robbins, will begin the show on a whimsical note. The production concludes with George Ballanchine’s Who Cares?, a salute to Broadway set to the music of George Gershwin.
