City of Tampa Parks and Recreation - Lifeguard Training

The City of Tampa Parks & Rec department offers water safety and lifeguard certification across a variety of city pools throughout the year. These classes are open to children 15 and up with strong swimming skills.

Must be at least 15 years old and pass a swimming skills pretest. Successful completion includes a 2 year American Red Cross lifeguard certification, First Aid/CPR/AED.
