Located in the heart of Seminole Heights, the Wayne C. Papy Athletic Center was the city's first true gymnastics-training center. In 2004 the facility was expanded to include a 7,800 square foot gymnastic pit, tumbling strip, and full apparatus gymnastic equipment for all four Olympic events (vault, bar, balance beam and floor). The Center also has three dance studios and a progressive training room with downsized equipment for toddlers. The Wayne C. Papy Athletic Center has been operating for over 20 years and is home to the city's award-winning dance and gymnastics teams.
