Babe Zaharias Golf Course is a public golf course that is proudly managed by the Tampa Sports Authority.
Known in the Tampa Bay area as "The Babe," Babe Zaharias Golf Course was named after Mildred Ella "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias, the female athlete of the 20th Century who owned and manged this historic golf course for 7 years.
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the tree-lined residential neighborhood of Forest Hills, The Babe measures a modest 6,244 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines are par-35, the backside sports four par-4s in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenging course for golfers of all skill levels.
Take part in a true tradition of the Tampa Bay area and golf at The Babe.
