Bay Hope Day School

Bay Hope Day School is an outreach ministry of Bay Hope Church. We have served our community since August 1988. We are one of the largest private and faith-based preschools in Hillsborough County and the state of Florida serving approximately 300 children each year. We have been awarded a Gold Seal of Excellence by the National Accreditation Commission (NAC).

Our preschool program starts at age 2. We have a total of 7 VPK classrooms and an additional 6 classrooms for 2-year old and 3-year old children, plus an Elementary After School program. Children are placed in a classroom in August and remain in that classroom until the 10-month school year is completed.

ELEMENTARY AFTER SCHOOL (2:30 PM – 6:00 PM)
Our Day School Bus transports children in the afternoon from Northwest, Sun Lake, Schwarzkopf, Hammond and Elementary Schools who are in Kindergarten – 5rd grade. We will also pick-up on EARLY RELEASE Mondays.

Time is set aside each afternoon for homework assignments; playground and sports; and centers that are elementary age-appropriate. A daily devotion time is an integral part of our elementary after school program.

Morning care for the Elementary Program is not available on days when public school is in session, however when Hillsborough County Schools are CLOSED, Bay Hope Day School is OPEN on most days for a full-day from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. Bay Hope Day School offers a full-day during the summer for elementary-age children. We have several of our preschool graduates to come back and join us in the summer months.
