What is Kind Camp About?
TEACHING THE IMPORTANCE OF KINDNESS!
Providing a place for kids to shine and share their purpose to make a difference in the lives of others!
Teaching the importance of Connecting with Others, Character Building, Sportsmanship, Manners, Patriotism, Resolving Conflict, Sharing Kindness, Showing Compassion, Diversity, Team Building, Resolving Conflict, Respect & Responsibility.
Opportunities for “Little Buddies” (Elementary School Students Pre-K – 5th Grade) who are partnered with a “Big Buddy” (High School Students)
We are an electronic-free zone! Yes, that means no cell phones for Big Buddies or
Little Buddies, and Big Buddies are fully engaged with their Little Buddies! Cell phones are collected at the beginning of Kind Camp and returned at the end of the day.
Providing Daily Lessons on giving back in the community as well as making crafts for different organizations in the community, such as Foster Care, children with Special Needs, Disabilities, or Illnesses, First Responders, the Elderly, Widows, and Animal Shelters.
We provide an opportunity for our volunteers to earn community service hours.
