Yellow Bird Studio Summer Art Camp

​Creative kids and their parents agree, Yellow Bird Studio's Summer Art Camp is Tampa Bay's BEST art camp! We plan our camp to keep the kids engaged, spark their creativity, and provide plenty of time for making friends. Each week we are inspired by a new theme, and we bring it to life with a variety of media and techniques that let them explore the possibilities and their imaginations. A small group allows us to provide your child with individualized instruction for projects.

Summer Camp Weeks and Themes

Week 1 June 2-6: Set The Stage Camp (Entering 2nd - 6th Grade)
Young artists and performers will work together to create their own production from start to finish and learn about all aspects of theatre, from set and costume design, to writing and performance in our first ever Set the Stage camp.

Week 2 June 9-13: Land of Magical Friends (Entering 1st - 6th Grade)
Lovers of fairies, gnomes, unicorns and other "magical" friends will love creating art using a wide variety of media and materials where their creative imaginations and stories will come to life!

Week 3 June 16-20: Fashion Camp (Entering 3rd - 6th Grade)
This is a permanent fixture of every summer camp at YBS and is the perfect camp for little fashionistas! We design and make mannequin couture worthy of any runway and design and make other flashy fashions that will make you go WOW!

Week 4 June 24-28: Under The Sea (Entering 1st - 6th Grade)
Mermaids and other ocean creatures will take center stage as we create worlds for them with a variety of media that are inspired by the sea and it's treasures!

TBA June 30-July 3 Single Day Camps (Entering 1st - 6th Grade)
These will be special single day art camps with unique themes each day available for individual registration. No camp on July 4th.

Week 5 July 7-11: Pet Menagerie (Entering 1st - 6th Grade)
This crafty camp is for pet lovers: from dogs, to cats to birds and more! Each project will let kids bring a different pet to life using a variety of arts and crafts and learn how to be responsible pet owner.

Week 6 July 14-18: Galaxy Camp (Entering 1st - 6th Grade)
We bring galaxies far, far away to planet Earth with our Star Wars infused Galaxy Camp as we make space ship models, personal pocket aliens, cool painting projects and more!

Week 7 July 21-25: Winter in July (Entering 1st - 6th Grade).
Does the summer heat have you down? Then join us for Winter In July camp, where we cool down making winter wonderland arts and crafts that will keep us chill!

Week 8 July 28- August 1: Pop Star Camp (Entering 2nd - 6th Grade)
Glitter and glam intersect in a fun-filled celebration of a variety of age-appropriate pop-star icons. We will explore different musical artists though arts and crafts with an end-of-camp celebration that will have something for everyone to love!
