Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at McKay Bay Nature Park

Learn and Serve Tampa Inc is proud to partner with the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department, The Mission Continues - Tampa Chapter, and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful to host a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event. The event begins with check-in and orientation starting at 8:30 A.M., cleanup and beautification activities from 9:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., and a cook-out style lunch and Environmental Education Fair starting at 11:30. At noon, there will be a brief presentation and remarks. All events will conclude by 12:30 P.M.
This opportunity is open to up to 300 volunteers of all ages with youth 12 and under requiring a parent or other adult chaperon. Each participant must register. Youth groups ages 13-17 need to have chaperons in attendance at a ratio of 1 per 10. Families are encouraged to participate. Only volunteers aged 18 and older can assistance with invasive removal and must register with The Mission Continues.
If you plan to participate, review the waivers for participation from Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and Learn and Serve Tampa Inc. Complete all relevant sections and submit.
