Summer Art Camps Week 1: June 3rd - June 7th

Drawing 101
Morning Sessions 1: 9:00am - 10:15am.
Five days (Available online and in person.)
During this session, we will focus on drawing techniques. Drawing is the basics of art. Explore the principles of drawing using pencil and charcoal. Learn to draw lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, and color. Classes will help students create a portfolio to share with family and friends.

Animals with Charcoal and Ink
Morning Sessions 2: 10:30am -11:45am
Five days (Available online and in person.) We will draw from photographs or drawings of our favorite animals using charcoal and ink techniques to create master white and black art pieces!

Summer Art Camps Week 2: June 10th - June 14th

Draw Superheros & Heroines with Personality
Morning Session 1: 9:00am - 10:15am.
Five days (Available online and in person.) During this session, we will learn how to draw Drawing Superheroes & Heroines. We will learn how to remove the figure, the head, the hands, the feet, the eyes, the mouth, and the nose. We will learn about human proportions and character shapes. We will learn fun and fast techniques. All this creates characters with personal and unique to the artist!

Painting Alla Prima with Oil Painting
Morning Sessions 2: 10:30am -11:45am
Five days (Available online and in person.) Alla prima is an Italian phrase that means "at the first attempt." This workshop will focus on learning to paint a painting, Alla prima, with oils. Examples include sketching a bowl of fruit or a landscape.

Summer Art Camps Week 3: June 17th - June 21th

Acrylic Painting 101
Morning Sessions 1: 9:00am - 10:15am.
Five days (Available online and in person.) During this session, we will focus on acrylic painting techniques. Learn about materials, color theory, and methods.

Manga/illustration
Morning Sessions 2: 10:30am -11:45am
Five days (Available online and in person.)
Manga or illustration! Learn to create fun Manga/illustrations. Learn how to draw your favorite characters and how to draw your illustrations. Then learn how to color them with markers or colored pencils. Develop skills that translate to any realistic drawing: light and shadow, line and tone, perspective and foreshortening, hands, faces, and body action, yet they can learn while drawing the content they want... Vanessa is a Copic Certified. So if you bring your Copic to class, learn how to use them, and learn different techniques, this will be the summer camp to join.

Drawing and Coloring Animals
Morning Session 1: 9:00am - 10:15am
Five days (Available online and in person.)
Explore the principles of drawing by learning how to draw your favorite animals. Using colored pencils, learning about materials for lines, shapes, light/shadows, perspective, black and white, drawing fundamentals, line volume, positive and negative space, values, and composition. Classes will help
