Cypress Point Park

Tucked away, this hidden treasure is a city of Tampa park that includes a picnic benches, pavilions, bicycle racks, canoe launch, walking trails, ample parking and a beach. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, watch approach for landing at the nearby Tampa International Airport & enjoy some sun on the beach.

Beach
The calm and tranquil white sand beach of Cypress Point offers breathtaking views of Tampa Bay with occasional flyovers from planes landing at Tampa International Airport. This is also a popular spot to catch a Florida stunning sunset.

Disc Golf Course
A disc golf course that will challenge even the most enthusiastic players. Concrete tee pads, good signage, places to sit, and not much other activity on the grounds, all add to the experience. Some of the courses may have standing water so wear appropriate foot gear. A creek comes into play on two holes.

Playground
The playground is centralized to the active area located close to the restrooms and shelters. It features areas to climb, hop, and test the balance. Benches face the playground to watch your child play in the Florida sun.

Sand Volleyball Court
There is one sand volleyball court located east of the parking lot.

Shelters
Spacious shelters are available for your outdoor event and are equipped with picnic tables, grills and trash receptacles. Permitting for the shelters is handled by the shelter office.

Trails
Shaded trails wind through the length of the park offering views of nature and wildlife. One trail is paved and the other is unpaved and connect at various points along the trails.
