 ase a license.  On these days, the fishing license requirement is waived fo
 r all recreational anglers, including both residents and non-residents.\n\n
 All other rules such as seasons, bag and size limits apply. \n\nLicense-fre
 e freshwater days:\nFirst consecutive Saturday and Sunday in April\nSecond 
 consecutive Saturday and Sunday in June\nLicense-free saltwater days:\nFirs
 t consecutive Saturday and Sunday in June\nFirst Saturday in September\nSat
 urday following Thanksgiving\nThe saltwater waiver applies to any recreatio
 nal harvest requiring a saltwater fishing license (e.g., crabbing, lobsteri
 ng, scalloping, etc.) as well as fishing from shore or a boat.  A snook or 
 spiny lobster permit are also not required on these days.\n
