 ce Prize is $500\nadditional prizes through 10th place\nThe Incredible Duck
  Race is a FREE event in Curtis Hixon Park with family friendly music, food
 , and activities all leading up to the big race.\nTickets are not necessary
  to attend, but you must adopt a duck to participate in the race.\nAll proc
 eeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Tampa charitable foundation, which sp
 onsors many local projects and programs for children. Although we would lov
 e to have you attend, you don't need to be present to win - so take a chanc
 e and adopt a duck!\nThe Tampa Kiwanis Club has been helping children in th
 e local community since 1919. Our enthusiastic members pursue creative ways
  to serve the needs of children in our community. Locally we build ramps fo
 r the disabled, hold immunization events, purchase holiday gifts for kids i
 n need, provide scholarships, work with leadership clubs in schools at the 
 middle school, high school and college level, and we fund and maintain a St
 oryWalk in Al Lopez Park to encourage early literacy and exercise. Addition
 ally, our foundation provides grants to local non-profit organizations.
