Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park attracts over one million people annually to its special events. It’s a place to meet and enjoy Tampa’s waterfront. Bring your children to splash through the water features or take your dog for a trip to the dog park.

Great and Sloped Lawn
The perfect urban open space for festivals and concerts, Curtis Hixon Waterfront park has a great lawn with sloped and terraced edges for optimal viewing from a distance. There is ample space for a sports or outdoor yoga classes, too.

Splash Pads
It's no secret why Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is so popular with the kids: two splash pads offering hours of fun and a great way to cool off.

Playground
The play offers a children’s play area with equipment for children ages 2 to 12 years old. Shaded play structures and seating areas will allow children and parents to enjoy the park even on hot summer days.

Dog Run
A fenced in dog park with lots of features to keep your dog busy and happy. One large dog or two small (30 lbs. and under) dogs per person at one time. Dogs must be at least 6 months old and display County license tags.

Boat Dock and Water Taxi Stop
Dock your boat and enjoy the park or hop on the Pirate Water Taxi and catch breathtaking views of downtown and the Tampa Riverwalk from the water.
