Humane Society of Tampa Bay Critter Camp

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s (HSTB) most popular educational program is more exciting than ever! Critter Camp runs all summer long and during school breaks throughout the school year.

Campers will learn about being responsible caregivers to pets, how to stay safe around animals, different animal careers, what the HSTB does, and much more. Campers will help with shelter activities, play games, make animal-themed crafts and, of course, spend lots of time with our shelter animals.

Our Critter Camp programs are overseen by a certified teacher and volunteers, who are background-checked and have been trained for the program. Booking one (or more) of our single-day or week-long sessions provides a rewarding experience for your child and benefits our homeless animals at the same time!
